Leighann – “D-Mom Blog”
When she’s not working at the local university doing research, Leighann Calentine spends time with her husband and two children, one of whom is type 1. Leighann’s daughter (who she refers to as “Q”) was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in May of 2008 when she was 3-years-old. Leighann has to travel 200 miles each way to see her daughter’s endocrinologist. Her daughter switched from daily injections to an insulin pump in October of 2009. Visit Leighann’s Blog: “D-Mom Blog”.
