Alissa, a native of the UK, was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when she was 11-years-old. Like others in the UK, Alissa enjoys indulging in her family’s Sunday roasts. Thus, Alissa is able to manage her diabetes through research, a fairly low carb diet, routine exercise and her insulin pump. Visit Alissa’s Blog: “Juvenile Diabetes”.
